Finland

The different cereals on the table
Tell me a story coming from far
Where milk is for lunch
and potatoes are pure.
Dark bread and dark days
In the winter of a country
Whose heart is warm though timid
With respect and independence
As a white flour
And an orange berry.

Dinner

Whispering quietly
To myself
The wind rests and the leave sets in
In the middle of the crowd.
The unthinkable takes place
And the chaos surrenders
Tho the joy and amusement
A dinner cash offer.

Dam

That current through the body
The sweat in palms
Announces me a change.
The dam opens when you don’t expect it
And manning the wave is difficult
But as it comes
It passes
Building a new scenario.
