Sitting and staring at the landscape
I don’t value these minutes
That can hand out joyful ideas
And first steps
For a new direction.
The train accelerates,
I slow down
I often deny the beauty
Of the world passing by
And neglect the true source
Of a life to remember.
Springing water can clean my avidity
With its transparent and youth
And I will make sure I will get surprised
The answer to your shaking
Sits patiently hidden
at the bottom of those drawers
Or in the farther of the thoughts.
You have attended all tasks in sight for today
But cannot sit still and breathe.
Running in the wheel and digging
The missing piece emerges
With what has to be done
To feel worthy and complete for today.
Little second and endless minutes
Decorate my day
While surfing the web of paying attention
To the greedy phone.
I feel their emptiness and their frustration.
I fill them with mindfulness and self-consciousness.
Wearing a dress,
Finding an old friend,
Discovering your name in a protein sequence
Are moments that pass quickly
But leave a mark
Between the boring yesterday
And the smiling now.
