Berry mood

Feeling precious and sunny today
I carefully choose my dress
and move on to impress
the grey factory’s corridors.
I spread my tiny black seeds
that numerous leave marks
I will see after the rain.

Finland

The different cereals on the table
Tell me a story coming from far
Where milk is for lunch
and potatoes are pure.
Dark bread and dark days
In the winter of a country
Whose heart is warm though timid
With respect and independence
As a white flour
And an orange berry.
