Crossing doors

I always make sure
That a bridge is in sight
Or a door in proximity.
Few objects can guarantee you
An opportunity today
And the second road
looks always sunnier.

Single sock

No family can bind you
when alone you travel the world
in search of no place but of surprise.
No friend can tell your story
when the protagonist is a curly
with a backpack full of tricks.

Timeline exploration

Straight and thin
My timeline takes me through days and encounters
Without looking back
Only giving and never taking.
I walk it sometimes confident,
Sometimes perplexed,
Often dubious of keeping the right pace.
Always straight yet extending
between points of personal development
And thickening at times to give me time to adjust
To the new faces
that the heartfelt decisions of yesterday have brought
In this sterile office.
