Dams are extreme measures
And you could not escape or see our coming.
Flooding cold leaves you empty,
Like a desert ready to blossom
after a long century.
Alone you watch and dig for solutions
You only have.
You will get over it,
You will learn from it
You are everything it takes
You feel better when you remember this.
You did it already
You are consoling the most important person
And you hands close on each other
And you are not alone anymore.

Poem for the day you can’t stop smiling
Walking in public had never been
so energising
And you could hug trees and streetlights
With no shame.
The moment will pass but the taste
Will be a new neuron in your head
and a new reference value.
Sweet like a daisy and mellow like chamomile,
Bubbly like the sky in spring
And solid like you have never been before
You will stand
Aiming a new high.
Out of the labyrinth
Out of the lab and out of my head,
I let the summer absorb me and that childish
smile come back suddenly.
Windows and computers,
Numbers and papers are like walls
in a labyrinth to my TBD destination.
Language journey
Proud and waiting for its start,
I take my credit card and promise
To embark on this new journey.
A group of strangers
Are brought together by language
coming from far
but already coming closer.
Honesty prize
My unicorn cup is filled to the brink
Of tiny Endorphins and foggy fear
When i start my day.
I will collect rusty coins and colourful tokens
For each time I say the truth
And my face doesn’t lie.
Happiness in the lab
Professional happiness
Does not reflect in your life outside the lab.
Topics of research are specific peculiar issues
Of almost no importance to those who cross your way
Or share your restaurant.
Telling life a tale your work to a fresh new ear
Brightens up your spirit of young scholar
And reactivates your brain from its winter sleep.
