Close to you

My emails gather files
And data and ideas
Worth no future.
My folders collect dust
Shy of their ambition.
My mind runs wild and bubbly
In the field of the mind.
My hands wait and dream.

Purposeful chocolate

Focus and quick typing

lead to the perfect manuscript.

Focus feeds on dark tannic chocolate,

typing burns calories and sweet molecules.

The chemistry in my body brings

science and creativity to the world.

Thundering through the weekend

Nature surprises

with its photonic power and blind disruption.

thunders energize

and I disrupt randomly

these days of isolation and family life.

Stones leave shoes after long time

words like hale dirsrupt and renew

relationships that regrow.

1BGE : Creativity in the SHOP

In moments of boredom or concern, seeing how beautiful the structures of nature are can reassure and inspire! I went back to my favourite molecules and selected some protein structures to bring some dynamism and creativity in our SHOP. Have a look at the NEW items with this protein!

This crystal structure belongs to the CANINE AND BOVINE GRANULOCYTE-COLONY STIMULATING FACTOR (G-CSF) that is clearly a super curly protein!

This protein is a member of the cytokine family and carries sugar modiciation (they are glycoproteins) that stimulate the differentiation and proliferation of blood cells. They are small proteins with a molecular mass of about 19 kDa and an amino acid sequence identity of about 80%.The structure is formed by alpha-helices that form an antiparallel 4-alpha-helical bundle with up-up-down-down connectivity. The human and canine proteins are really somilar in structure to each other. (ref.DOI: 10.1006/jmbi.1993.1617)
