Purposeful chocolate

Focus and quick typing

lead to the perfect manuscript.

Focus feeds on dark tannic chocolate,

typing burns calories and sweet molecules.

The chemistry in my body brings

science and creativity to the world.

Rejection fight

The article is rejected

twice,

the time spent shrinks in my mind and the critical work

summed to a few pages.

Having a voice is all,

giving a contribution is hard.

Slap me nature, please

Spring knocked and nobody opened.
It slammed the door to our face,
Wake up!
You cannot stop nature,
You cannot stop the revolution,
It will slap you awake
Each time you are lost in your data
Or your handy,
Or your worries.

Scooped on an everyday basis

The sheet lands on the floor confident
And crashes my plans of disruption.
I was at the border of what is known,
I thought I jumped resolutely forward
For all of us.
I am now in the crowd again
Silent for a moment,
While the tank of curiosity refills.

The h-number

I see this article from a journal with no name

I see hard work and raining,

I see little attention and care from the society.

Science is competitive

Science is a fight with no weapons

Science is made by friends

Science gives you a 14 as an h-number.

Signing at last

Results and images had no name,

Hanging loose in the air of the auditorium.

Years have passed and they have been spoken,

Discussed, and tortured by anybody

With a mouth and a degree.

Now they are on the screen, they have a link,

They have a father and a mother,

And multiple curious coming along like children.

The list of names is long,

The list start with me.

Science punch

Days and years in and out of the lab
Are now a story and a small contribution
To a vivid community
Of hunters.
Scientists share and compete
Building a library and a better world.
