The door is closed and the lights dim
When I look into the future of this adventure.
Only alone I see the reason,
the hidden underwater thread
Passing idle
Through my days and my hands.
I wish it was passing through my head.
Science meets poetry
The door is closed and the lights dim
When I look into the future of this adventure.
Only alone I see the reason,
the hidden underwater thread
Passing idle
Through my days and my hands.
I wish it was passing through my head.
The dark has come
Yet the day is not over.
The list of still long
And the appealing tasks
Are queuing for my attention.
I trust my watch
And keep on trying
While my brain wears its pyjama.
The instinct never lies
And lime a radar spots the dangers
For you
Even when hidden under the surface.
Listen and draw the map
To avoid the traps
Like a champion of alpine slalom.
What holds me back
Has no hands and no reason.
In my belly a fear and a spasm.
From true dedication,
there came disappointment
Dressed in targets and evaluations.
No belly tells lies.
